And only use a cat-5 cable? Do you have power onboard in the ROV? The battery for the thrusters?

All the info for the thrusters is in the plans! They are easy and cheap to get. Order a copy from the website and you will have a link to download them in mins. It is only £6.50. (less than a burger & fries) Look out in your spam folder in case the link goes there by mistake.

I use an on board battery because of volt drop thru a tether . Cheap security cameras from ebay too. Next one will have an HD camera as they are getting quite cheap. I have some O/B video and will put on youtube when I get a little free time.

It uses ordinary cat five cable.

Nice design, though it's kind of wacky that you mounted the vertical thruster on the top of the ROV so that it creates that funnel of spray each time it dives.
