Sorry! Smudged lens! The pitfalls of making these clips when oil is lurking around. Mixed up which clutches were what as well during the explanation! The plates with the radial grooves are the forward clutch units, the same sized smooth set is for the reverse/high clutch. The mind goes one way, the words the other. Raw, uncut! Regardless, I still have yet to have a transmission come out having three speeds reverse, one forward, well actually I did once. a clip some day soon will show the vehicle it was involved with. These parts are ready to go into storage as they are not needed here, but somebody else may need them for their own project. Nothing gets thrown out that somebody else may be able to use to get their own project on the mend. Turbo 400 parts, the forward, reverse/high and second clutches. Speaking out about solving what could be the reason these parts are in the condition they are in. The words spoken can be applied to diagnosing most any transmission from the period of carbureted vehicles.
