Matt Bellamy is probably one of the best musicians in the world. His abilities on Piano and Guitar are just insane. BUT there's a little difference about him and Thom.
Thom is a genious composer and songwritter, maybe Bellamy is better
at playing the instruments, but Thom's awesomeness at the aforementioned is just not from this planet.

I think they're both skilled songwriters, but just very different. Matt's compositions are far more technical than Thom's. But that's the beauty with Thom's composing - he's able to do so much with so little. True realisation of "less is more".
