just downloaded this game along with FSO , dam its good espically when theres to Captial ships slugging each other off , or when you hear a beam cannon charging and your like "HOLY F£"%K", even the soudn effect in this game sound great.

@EuphoricDan I get worried games have been to watered down for the masses, if they finally make the game (I'd freak out) and then flame all the masses that don't understand it

@rockogambi i have the gog version but when i try to play it says "freespace 2 has stopped working" :( any ideas? freespace 1 plays fine

Damn.. if Youtube was available back then, FS2's trailers and footage would blow everyone's mind off and it wouldn't suffer such bad sale figures thanks no other than Interplay.

@schwarzfalk @schwarzfalk Freespace 2 sold only 27 Thousend games in the first 6 months Thats not good. Especially for a game that got very good critics and hoards of awards and is the pinnacle of its genre.

Some times I think because this game failed at sales it was the end of the mission based space shooter.
