However, they are both generated by knuckle-dragging bigots whose opinions of me or our protagonist are of little interest to me. There are plenty of daft little kids on here, all quick to call each other names. Making an intereresting, intelligent or humourous comment is much more rare. And yes, Steve Allen is funnier than you could ever be, to me and to his thousands of fans.

Definitely one of the most entertaining people on radio. I'd just picked up a mug of coffee the morning he referred to Robbie Williams as "That gurning person from Stoke on Trent who isn't all there" ... the coffee got sprayed everywhere.
