Today I interview New York Times Best Selling Author Jordan Rubin. I asked Jordan some great questions about supplements, the raw vegan diet and much more. This is one of the best interviews I ever did. I highly suggest viewing all 3 parts. This is part 1 of 3. For part 2 and 3 visit https://www.rawlifehealthshow.com

  • @rawbirbella No it DOESN'T work for everyone. Read "When Hallelujah Becomes What Happened?" and read about the long term effects of raw veganism. There is usually a 3 year time period where people do really well, then their health starts going downhill. Please stop assuming that what works for you will work for everyone. It is dangerous to give advice to people when you don't know the specifics about their situation. You could really hurt people in the process.

  • @jkvmichigan Well, I forgot to specify: Raw vegan absolutely HIGH FRUIT. This DOES work for everyone as this is the diet we (our body, our organs) are designed for. Please do read THE 80 10 10 DIET from Dr. Douglas Graham and he will also explain why you felt so bad on the low-fruit - high fat diet. Fat and vegetables IS a desaster - fruit will give you energy and let your body heal. Do yourself a favour and the the book.

  • @rawbirbella I went on a 30-day raw vegan phase 1 detox diet designed by Dr. Gabriel Cousens under a raw vegan coach who studied under him. It was a disaster for me. Phase 1 is fat and vegetables. I lost a lot of weight and was very lethargic. For others, it worked well.

There are simply NO diets that work for everyone. As Dr. Mercola points out on his website, people are wired differently and what works for one could kill another. Read the book "When Hallelujah Becomes What Happened?"

  • @horsesandjesus Oh come on!!!

  • @jkvmichigan Are we talking VEGAN DIET or RAW VEGAN DIET??? I'm pretty sure the effects of long-term cooked vegan diet are not the best (tons of cooked processed carbs and oils). But the long term effects of a long term RAW VEGAN diet are outstanding as vids on youtube from THE GARDEN DIET THE RAWFOODWORLD THE LIFEREGENERATOR THE FRUITARIAN DURIANRIDER FREELEA and many more will prove. Also go see vids of Dr. Robert Morse on HEALING with a raw vegan diet.

  • i like jordan's story and testimony. but his supplements are SOOOO expensive. also garden of life claimed that their "grow bone" was vegan but the vitamin d was from an animal source. there are some unfortunate inconsistencies btw. the message and the practice at times.

  • My fiance introduced me to Jordan's testimony, and he has been inspiring me ever since.

  • I myself went on a raw vegan detox diet and didn't get the results I was hoping for. Instead of getting more energy I was very lethargic. So I started looking on the web to see if other people had negative responses to the diet. Sure enough, they have. I found a book on the web called "When Hallelujah Becomes What Happened?" and it details the long term effects of a vegan diet, such as muscle wasting, hypothyroidism, hair and teeth loss. Pretty scary stuff.

  • @jkvmichigan Your right. But you have to understand that when adam and eve fell it affected everything. And now because of the fall our diet has changed and therefor we NEED meat! Jesus ate meat! If it's ok for him to eat its ok for us to eat. But i'll take my horome free, antiobiotic, immunication, free grass fes no corn beef any day!

  • Some probably do, but there are people who are raw vegan because their health is so much improved by eating that type of diet. The book of Genesis in the Bible definitely points to human beings designed as vegan, although later in the Bible it definitely lists animal flesh as being acceptable to eat. I think people should try the diet and see how it works, then adjust according to your own needs.
