@cyclance1 There is a noticeable difference between bird shot (avg. 1200fps) and a rifled slug (avg. 1600fps). 10 rnds. of 1oz. slugs will leave your shoulder a bit raw. There are also 3" mag slugs that are up to 2000fps.

Is a slug really that hard on your shoulder, or do people just not hold the gun right?
-
just bought that gun i m much smaller still going do it

You rednecks need to learn more about guns before you start playin with them
-
@SoccerDJRob ur answer is both depending on the task if they have shotguns
-
Left handed shooters FTW!

Dude don`t shy from your gun put more weight on your leading foot, lean forward, cheek firm on the stock not tight. gently breath out as you squeeze the trigger don`t pull.
-
@SoccerDJRob the shotguns in the cars are buckshot
-
how long was the shell?
-
@SoccerDJRob cops now use M4A1's, no joke.
they replaced all the police shotguns and gave them M4's

do cops use slugs or buck shot?

@SoccerDJRob I think it varies depending on location and what the situation is.. Its probably left up to the individual precincts as to what ammo they use. I'm not sure if there are state or federal standards for that kind of thing
