Seems like alot of haters here, this band out rocked Journey and their new skinny boy......Foreigner and Night Ranger rocked it out at Verizon Amphitheater in Charlotte Aug 21-2011!! Best show ever! But Journey is not Journey with out Steve Perry!!!!!

Lou was Robert plant good in my book, raw singing talent like that is a 1 in a million, too many pauls on the stage, let Mick play blackie cause his tone cant be duplicated and someone pick up a strat, gimme a good start over paul any day, its a more exacting guitar, is the camera guy blind give mick some coverage, theres your talent, he is one of a kind vintage rocker, who has written and produced even for van halen. he is an amazing guitarist. and has forgotten more than the other guys

@a1guitars - I beg to differ that Dennis DeYoung "fucked STYX up" in any way. In 1996, they toured, and he sang brilliantly. He developed some health problems after that, and JY and Tommy wanted to go back on the road, but Dennis wasn't ready, so they fired him. Same thing happened to Steve Perry in the 90s, but it doesn't mean Dennis and Steve can't sing. Lou Gramm never fucked anything up. How dare you say that. You must not know Lou's story... I do agree with you about Kelly though.

Respect for Lou and Dennis, without them there would be no Foreigner or Styx! Nothing wrong with Kelly, but he is just a copy of the original. I fail to see what he adds of his own to the music.

If you know the history of Foreigner at all, Mick searched for a long time for a specific voice, and found it in Lou. They will never again create the style of magic which brought them to the top.

For the haters, lou graham fucked foriegner up in the 90's, as much as Dennis DeYoung fucked Styx up. I would rather see a guy that sounds better and actually shows and brings some enthusiasm to the band. Kelly sounds great, and I would actually shell out some cash to see them for the first time in 20 years.

Kelly looks like a mix between Dave Grohl and Steven Tyler. In addition to Foreigner, he could front for Aerosmith if Steven decided to leave because, like Steven, Kelly moves well and has that rock star posturing that makes him work in both bands. Kelly is great and fantastic addition to Foreigner the same way that Arnel Pineda is great and a fantastic addition to Journey.
