It's hard to believe she didn't stand on the podium. She is absolutely perfect!

Corrupt: Interesting that the 5.7's for technical came from USA (Thomas), E. Germany (Witt), and Canada (Manley). Hmmmmm, surprise surprise. That was the best short, technically, of the night by A MILE. The combo jump= hardest and smoothest; spins=fastest and varied; axle=beyond equal; footwork=most intricate (perhaps with Thomas). Anything lower than a 5.9 is absurd.

this is such a great comment! The commentator is totally captivated and fascinated by Midori! He's praising her awesome and incomparable jumping abilities and even mentions at the end that she'll be likely the first woman to land a triple axel, because her double axel in this short was so high and clean <3
