If you want a slickly produced riding video with a hip-hop soundtrack and not much information, stop watching and go elsewhere. This is me and my iPhone and some thoughts after riding this bike 100 miles on December 16, 2010.

  • Is ABS on a motocycle worth it?

  • @bullseatpizza I think it is, especially for just an extra $500. It's like having full-coverage insurance-you may never use it, but you'll be glad to have it when you need it.

  • olny thing that sucks about the kawasaki 250r's is there fuckin carb's i hate carbs if i wanted to mess with a carb i would get a harley lol the cbr 250r's all are FUEL INJECTED witch i love alot about the cbr 250r's

  • @permachoob True enough, but carbs are actually pretty simple to figure out, especially the basic CVs on the Ninja. FI, on the other hand, requires a dyno and somebody who really knows what they are doing to get exact.

  • @youdiddytube It has a passenger seat and footpegs, but it's not a touring bike!

  • @poet79ful I think you answered your own question--if it can go to Alaska and back, then sure it can handle it. But maybe you meant to ask, can I handle riding this bike for long distances. It's not a touring bike, but I think afternoon rides (maybe 100-200 miles) are no problem.

The Rebel 250, though--you will hate it at freeway speeds!

  • @getshokin still looking around but im definitely going to pick one up as soon as i can. im actually looking into the cbr 250 as my first!

  • @mrnoobJI Hey! I just saw this. Have you bought a bike yet? Don't go too long without riding or I'll have to see you again!

  • @aaronalvarado27 That depends on what you like and what you want to do with the motorcycle. If you are riding more than half for pleasure/fun, I'd go with the Ninja. The CBR is a better around-town/commuting bike.

  • @CHARLIETWW No! I think the 2012 will be exactly the same.
