  • Sorry, but how is this different from an etch-a-sketch ??

  • @jimmah55555 It is similar to the differences between a CRT monitor and a LCD monitor. They both do the same thing (display images), but the technology that makes the respective device work is entirely different.

  • you can't change the battery? lol. it seems that people love generating products that will become trash , that's sad ! . apart from that this thing is sooo awesome

  • @xbuster17 If you want to change the battery, get the new 10.5 inch model that runs on 2 (replaceable) AAAA cells.

  • can it turn off and on?

  • @BOMBCRAZYInc There is no "off" and "on". The device only uses power when you erase.

  • no if u send it ti improve electronics they replace the battery

  • Thanks for the great review! When I first used it I thought it was cool, although it like a modern Etch A Sketch. It sucks that you can't save your work, thus making it seem worthless. I would probably want one as a novelty.

  • I write important numbers and notes

They put the button - where I'd pick it up - so anything I write would be deleted

They need a safety - like on 007 ejector seat - or a fighter's missile launch button

  • Useless if you can't save what you write. Like carrying around a whiteboard.

  • @Dracanic Im sorry, not the eee slate. It's called the EEE Note.

  • how would the device save? Your displacing the liquid crystals. To make the device aware of what you draw, as far as i can tell, would add a whole new level of complexity to the device and would take continuous power to record. Plus thi device you all wish for exists, its called the Asus EEE slate.

  • The battery is lifetime warrantied so after the battery dies call boogieboard the company will take care of the battery free of charge!

  • seems kind of pointless
