Ahhh, us kids loved this in it's day encouraged us to go exploring and roll around in dirty mud in the garden. Or was that just me..?! I like how he's not telling the story in the patronising tone kid's presenters speak these days.

Argh!! I LOVED these! Always wished I could remember what the show was called. All I could remember was that it was Baldrick telling weird stories lol

Used to bunk off college to go home and watch 'Fat Tulip'. Have got loads on video at my mother's house - will look them up and try to get on disc.
They don't make them like this anymore

Yet to be released on DVD, but there's always hope. That wonderful series from years ago, 'Turtle's Progress' was recently re-released for a short time and another classic, 'Chelmsford 123' has also appeared on DVD. So, you never know - 'Tulip' may go the same way. Here's hoping.

dear bungle boss,
I loved this show as a child, and was hoping to ask if it would be possible for u to put as many of these episodes on to disk for me, i would gratefully pay a small fee if required too. i would do it myself, but i have no knowledge of how to. thank u for sharing them -i have told many people over the years about this much loved fave of mine, no one had heard of it and i was staring to feel like everyone thought i was mad and no one believed it even existed!!-

I just fuckin loved this programme when it was on UTV or ITV, As I used to watch it in Ireland...
Time Team would be even better if Tony Robinson presented it like he did with Tales frm Fat Tulips Garden.... just a thought ....
