@1984vrs, it was progressives and their socialist agenda and fraudulent institutions (Fanny Mae, Freddy Mac) who created our current financial problems. In spite of nefarious fiscal policies advocated mostly by Democrats, we were doing OK until Democrats gained control of Congress and pushed for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to further promote subprime mortgage loans. The USA has an actual COMMUNIST PARTY- and it operates a front group, as the "DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST PARTY." In 2006, 70 members of the "Democratic Socialists" were elected into Congress on the Democratic ticket (Soros had taken it over by then). Pelosi dropped her membership upon becoming speaker of the House. Obama was another member. Don't be fooled: the USA govt today is heavily Marxist and hooked up to international radical marxist govts and organizations. We legitimately are in danger.

It's kind of ridiculous how American conservatives call everybody who is slightly more progressive than them a communist. But I guess that's what 40 years of Cold War propaganda do to a country... It's just weird that my country had two "communist" (if you use the terms correctly, it's socialist) countries right at its border for 40 years, and nobody over here acts like that. We know not everything was bad there... and not everything is good here.

you seem to never have lived in a sozialist ( country ) enviroment,i have for 20 yrs and i tell you Obama's agenda is socialist,as it stands for now ,means what his agenda has done so far ,is to take control of most ( with the intened of all ) of each and everyone's daily life...see healthcare ,education,finances,housing(mo­rtages,CO2"polution),trade,med­ia( FCC),food(FDA) and the list goes on and on,the bigger the gov't... the less freedom and liberties you have

@Antonio33s Dont get me wrong I don't like Obama, just wanted to point out that Socialism and communism are very different systems just like European Libertarianism and American Libertarianism are totally different and are non-interchangeable. I disagree when you say help the poor scams are going to transfer our society Social spending in the 50's 60's was through the roof compared to today and they weren't living in the Gulags. Ask any socialist and they'll tell you Obama is no socialist.
