The key to velos being a viable means of transportaiton is to make them affordable, convenient and electric assist. The latter is required so you don't arrive at work sweaty. If somebody could make one for around $2000, it would sell like crazy. And for kids to accept a velo, it has to look cool. I know this one is a prototype, but it has real potential. I hope to see this model in production. Let's see more videos of it.
