@cataubawoman True, human laws are basically a more developed version of self preservation, just as all wars are still just one tribe fighting another. We are not terribly heightened creatures as humans, but we do find more simple ways of living, instead of a sharp rock we have a can opener and instead of mud we use brick. However as you pointed out, we are still very animalistic. And I like what you have said; it's nice to meet someone with a similar perspective to humankind as myself

@draculon5 I think the rules are only in place to protect individuals from suffering the same fate. We must have rules that protect all of us in order to make sure that I as an individual am protected. It is really self-preservation - I do not see anything inherently good about this. Other animals do it too and it only serves to increase our numbers. Although I disagree with your definition of human and your argument, I do like what you said.

@cataubawoman Being human today is all about fitting in with a society, and current society doesn't accept those who sympothise with mass murderers. I agree that we are just animals with hightened emotional senses, but the rules that humankind has doveloped have been around for thousands of years, who are we to disagree with the Millions who have come before us?
