If you are a Duke power customer you should have no problem, as they do offer net metering.

Energy United customers will need to call and request and complain alittle. I don't think it would take much to persuade them. Surely they aren't the type of company that that doesn't care about the enviroment. If not, then what explaination can they have for not offering net metering. If it is true that the new smart meters give them completely accurate info to help their customer understand their power bill better, then there should be no extra work involved, so what can their reasoning possibly be for not offering it?
I cant do it alone, but It should only take a handful of us to get Energy United to comply.

Electricity without building nuclear power plants would be to setup distributive power generation. The Germans have a great example where houses and businesses use an engine fueled by natural gas to turn a generator. The engine heat is then piped into the homes via circulating hot water. The power company receives electric power, home owner gets a break on both utilities, power company owns and maintains the eqipment.

@doinkusamongus Corporations are not "people" they are "persons" There is a BIG difference there. A person is not a man or wo-man. But a person IS a man or woman who is is in a position 'under' a corporation.

Such as a politician yes is a corporation, BUT it is the "position" not the man/wo-man in that position.

Look at every "CODE" of law it says Any "person" must do this or must do that.. You are not a person...

He can force them to abide by the laws, since their COLOR of law can not usurp authority over the law itself, they are depriving you of rights protected by the constitution through use of color of law. 18 USC § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law.

Use a notary process and serve them notice on their unlawful deprivation, you can NOT call them and get anything done, since the dead (corp) can not hear or speak.
