FatherAway420 - are you a numismatist or just a moderate collector and how many years have you been collecting? Just curious if you have any gold pieces? How old are you? Did you buy these coins or inherit them? Coin collecting has truly taken on a lot of new interest groups and individuals in the past 8 years or so. I'm a numismatic fanatic myself for 21 years.

My dad found an 1894-O Barber Half dollar in his backyard when he was a kid. (That was in the 1960s, so they were probably easier to find then.)

who is dumb enough to hand you these at work??????
Nice to see your interested in coin collecting.
I have been a collector of coins & tokens for over 40 years.
May I suggest however before you post information about your coins, that you do more research so you may correctly give out information you wish to share. You were I'm afraid, "Wrong" on a number of things you said about the coins.

With all of the changes the mint has had with the $100, $50, $20, $10, $5 bills, plus the nickel, quarter, and dollar coins. Plus the introduction of a new penny next year, I'm sure the .50 cent piece will be next on their to do list, unless they do the dime next. Either way I'm sure it's close.
