I am no Leo or mil but I own a mayflower plate carrier with soft armor and sapi plates. I do a lot of training with team movement including night ops. I don't want to take a accidental round. Also have it for SHTF/WROL.

@glynnt54 And a LEO responding to an Active Shooter has no need for a quality plate carrier to go over their concealable? Train how you fight, correct? Would you not want to train with your 'Active Shooter' load out as a worst case scenario?
A lot of the time, Officers pay out of their own pocket for stuff like this. No supply chain to back them up. Sorry to burst your bubble, but not all men and women in uniform are in the Military.

Great gear. I used one in the ghan for 9 months no probs. apart from the stated elastic issue. but i didnt use it as a plate carrier so I took them off. That is what theyre designed for anyway. all round comfy kit. would be bit better with spacer mesh on the inside

i have this vest and i used to be military but i am in the militia and need rifle plates medium sized

Contact MSA Paraclete directly and they will replace any vest for just about any reason.

Anyone that requires this equipment is either a DoD employee or contractor. Any malfunctions, failures, damage, or wear is subject to direct exchange at no cost to the user. If you are not a DoD employee or contractor, you have no need for this CTA-50/s; if you would like to wear this equipment, fully loaded in 100+ degree weather, and test it for Uncle Sam, there is a Recruiting Sergeant in a facility near you.

Not 100% sure of their warranty, but I am sure they will take care of the elastic issue. I will post info when I find out.

Any warranty covering the elastic? What is their Warranty? I know TAG is lifetime
