  • I don't know what op5072 is hearing but, my timing is not all that great anyway. Sounds awesome to me and I've heard this tune many times. Maybe not that many versions, but this is top notch.

  • @mandryitera thanks!

  • I agree, nice arrangement... BUT FIRE THAT DRUMMER! He really let you down here.

  • @op5072

hey, he did a damn good job, especially considering the extreeemely limited rehearsal time we had for this arrangement, the tempo (which i counted off faster than we had rehearsed it by a good 30 BPM) and the overall difficulty of the tune. I haven't heard too many drummers who can blow in 7 at 280 BPM.

  • @op5072 Fire that drummer? He let you down? Mate, take into consideration the situation! Fast swing in 7? By most drummers standards that's going to roast them, it's not like we do that everyday. Lets be realistic! If I was there I would have shuck his hand! He's quite clearly taken the challenge head on and done REALLY well! I don't know what you're looking for from a drummer but I think you're dreaming! I totally agree with what 'shankpeterman' said to you! You need to come back down to earth!

  • That was an amazing arrangement of the song. I enjoyed it thoroughly as well the players.

Would you be able to explain a bit about what you're doing on the piano. I would appreciate the knowledge, Sorry im just really curious. I love the sound of it all.
