@PokerPlum I agree with you to a point. However, please take a closer look at ALL Taliban tactics. Sure, classic guerrilla fight and flight is one tactic. But when they set off bombs in markets, where there are no US soldiers...when they kidnap and kill girls on the way to school, when they attack the local Afghan people...they are terrorizing them, by definition. They are not just fighting the US. They are killing Afghans that agree with the US. What do you call that? Free expression?

@PokerPlum the Soviets set up a puppet government... for better or worse, the US allowed the Afghans to have their own elections and choose their leader... at least, they tried, but they couldn't prevent the corruption and vote stealing. The US is setting the Afghan government up... beyond that, it's up to the Afghans. The Taliban kill more Afghans than US soldiers... they ARE terrorists, or they wouldn't be killing their own people.

@westsidestory23 but you have to remember your fighting people in robes and sandels.. tanks/helicopter/hummvess vs toyota pickup and mackshift explosives... pretty much farmers with aks and rpgs.. i mean its not really a fight id be proud of taking eleven years to do. i guess fights down syndrome blind kids would probably be dope in your eyes too
