This is one of four short documentary films about nature conservation techniques, woodland crafts and heritage of Dulwich Upper Wood local nature reserve in Crystal Palace. The films where filmed and edited by volunteers on Embrace Cooperation Ltd project Embrace Woodlands! This film looks at hedgelaying, tree coppicing, felling and making hazel hurdles. This film's main volunteer editor was Edward Szekely .

  • you know you're a 'real' man when you've re-layed a 20 year old hedge. grrrr! heee...i looked like a hedgehog for weeks! i love to see ancient rural crafts still being used...a great film to be uploaded. thank you.
