@seansi its the opposite dude, you havent heard enough rjd2. dilla is nice and so is pete rock but rjd2 has everything. June, Weatherpeople, Saliva, Since we last spoke, Smoke & mirrors, ghostwriter, 1976 and tons more with a VARIETY of music not just a heavy bass. Dilla and rock are nice for that but in the category of OVERALL rjd2 and RZA got it on lock ... NUF SAID

0 dislikes - the sign of a timeless track

@Consoli7 That's an opinion and I can respect that but honestly I still think you haven't heard enough Rock or Dilla if you believe RJD2 is better than either of them. I could be wrong though, maybe you heard all of their productions and then the only conclusion I can draw is that you don't heave ears for that Dilla bass caressing your earlobes...it's the attention to detail that made Dilla what he was.. PEACE....NUF SAID

J dilla is a beast. My friend has a couple of his vinyls and we would spend hours spinning on his tables. Nothing like some great tracks to lighten the mood, or just chill and play some vids to. He always liked Dilla more, and I was always a bigger RJ fan, but it is a tough call for sure.
RIP Jay Dee.

@AtomikBassCrew totally agree with ya!
Amazing how Pandora Radio made me a believer in Hip Hop, or at least RJD2.
One of his best insturmentals by far.
