  • @jamescourt1000 Thank you for your interest in Muay Boran, I don't know of any school that teach authentic Muay Boran in the south weat of England, you may find some school's saying they teach Muay Boran, but where did they learn it ? You Tube (LOL) ! I'm a teacher for Buddhai Swan, Thailand and I study the Thai Martial Arts, Krabi Krabong (Thai Weapons) Muay Boran (Traditional Thai Boxing) and Muay Thai (Thai Boxing). You are always welcome to come and train at the Sitsiam Camp/ Buddhai Swan.

  • @vytong yes a long time ago Muay Thai was used in the battlefields, but Muay Thai for real fighting and Muay Thai for sport are different, obviously many Muay Thai techniques used in the battlefields are not permitted in the sport of Muay Thai.

  • @TehYellowFlash Muay Thai is the modern day sport's version of Muay Boran. Muay Boran has a lower wider stance and has little not no contact rules such as groin shots and headbutt. Or knee strikes to the sternum. The reason for the lower stance is to step off of your opponents knee to deliver deadly strikes to the opponents head or neck. The video is a poor example of highlighting the differences since it's a demo and not a real fight.
