This is how I put away my mp3 player. This way I do not have to deal with inextricable knots next time I want to use it. This may increase the chance of fracturing the inside cables which is bad...

This is actually pretty smart. It reduces stress on the end cord ends (the bud connection and PM3 connection and whatnot). It DOES put a little more strain on the cord itself, but if THAT part of the cord cant handle it, then what part can?
