Unboxing iPhone 4S: Canadian Edition

@williamlai31518 People are telling me that because the 4S is a world phone now they are all unlocked. I'm not sure if that is true or not. I know it is a world phone, but I'm not sure if that means the ability to switch from carrier to carrier inside one country.

@williamlai31518 No, I called Bell, and they said that they are locked, the only way to get it unlocked is to buy it from Apple.

Geez! That's like $850 with tax! Well, at least you're not tied down to a 3 year contract I guess. BTW, are you from Toronto? I am and was wondering which carrier I should use when I get my iPhone 4? I've been on Fido, but the plans are minimum $65/ month opposed to $50. I also go to my cottage in Muskoka a lot. I know I could check coverage maps, but real world experience would really help. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot! =]

So silly, I reserved one of these from Rogers but the stores had them just sitting there. It would have taken a few more days to get the "reserved" one.
