World's smallest velodrome - Red Bull Mini drome - London

London welcomed the Red Bull Mini Drome to York Hall, where over 1000 spectators gathered to get a taster of the world's smallest velodrome in action.
Fixed gear riders from across the UK tried to hold on to the red line as they rode around the track aiming for the fastest time.
The purpose built track has been engineered in Germany by Velotrack, the team that built the velodromes for the Atlanta Olympics and the Delhi Commonwealth Games. The Red Bull Mini Drome track will maintain race-worthy dimensions in the smallest possible size to enable a single pursuit.

I'm sorry. Type in Red Bull mini drome 2012 Orlando". Definitly shorter, steeper, and more room for error. I just typed in Sf but no videos up yet. Orlando had the same. check back with me and I'll have posted some sweet videos of people eating it and killing it. Not trying to win your opinion, just as I said the same thing untill I checked it out and rode it. Shaka

Yes that one is. Look up "Red Bull mini drome 2012 sf mezzanine". I just rode it and it was gnarls in charge.

Pro's at riding there bike down the street. Just rode the mini drome in sf last thursday at the Mezzanine.( google it) The mini drome that redbull brought to sf had taller walls steep corners and alot shorter of an oval. But all in all pretty gnarly. Felt like I was in a circus. And oh yea, if you happen to even look at some of the pictures or video. I'm in the cut off christmas sweater and white rapper helmet.

after vicariously experiencing this and other Red Bull sponsored events I think I'll remember to not enter anything Red Bull sponsors at they all seem to be designed to inflict pain. I’ll not fool myself into thinking it looks like fun.
