Pro-Confederate groups have to understand that they can't hijack all of Southern heritage and they don't hold a monopoly on how the Confederacy is remembered. It's silly to base your Presidential vote solely on the candidate's stand on the Rebel flag. This country has real problems; the flag flap is a tempest in a teacup. I'm a proud Southerner myself--and I believe the South's growth and prosperity are best realized in the Union we struggled to help create.
