I have recently been in touch with a singer known only as rachie!
She is a English Dubbing Singer who I have recently found, and I have to say, SHE IS AMAZING!
Her singing is beautiful!
Her English is Perfect!
This girl is seriously a talented dubber!

And as usual, I asked her for a collab! Not just any collab, an English Collaboration!

I asked her if she could dub my all time favorite song, 'Sayoko'. A beautiful song that I find very touching and meaningful!
For the lyrics, I based them off the meaning of 'suicide' and 'lack of love for the world'.
That is why my lyrics for 'Sayoko' give off the meaning of a person, not restricted by gender or age, who simply does not see a point in life.
A person who wants to get away.
A person who does not want to 'live' a 'life'.
A person who want to "sleep",
A person who wants to "fly away",
A person who simply, "wants to die".

I remember the lyrics of the original being more... descriptive? You translation is nice, but I'm just used to normally hear more as of what is actually going on at the moment through out the song... But other than that, I love it. And I would like to cover, with your permission of course.

And concerning the lyrics, I always have this one rule to keep the translation as close as possible! However I also believe in a saying, "We're trying to make a story, not a translation"~ So I try to create a story within my lyrics while also keeping the meaning as close as possible!

SAYOKO IN ENGLISH. Where were you all my life~? I love the translyrics and the singing is good, but it's a bit...too strong for this song? Maybe I'm just used to the original. (Although, the first version I heard, and the one I prefer, was a cover, so maybe not. XD)

Huh, could've swore I commented on this, guess not. Well, never too late to say, freaking sick bro! Lyrics and Rachie just blow me out of the water. Never heard the original too much, but I don't think I can go back to the original japanese after this. Really smooth slant rhymes as well, though I'll have to agree with some comments on how Rachie's energetic performance contrasts the lyrics. She sounds great, don't get me wrong, but you know.
