Yeah not too many use the brake. I do personally after the Komatsu trainer sat with me and explained why. Got so used to it that I was always looking for it when driving a Hitachi.

never been on a kom 5500 any good?,i operate terex rh340,hitachi ex8000,good to see zero spot time,good truckies

Yeh man can dig. Short dipper arm so tons of breakout. ONly compromise is a little bit of reach but I'd sacrifice that for tear and breakout any day. We are getting a EX8000 in June in shovel config. any good??

Hi guys. Chucky here. Just a word to say this digga now has 50,000+ hrs on the clock, is slow as all fuck, and still load 5 bucket passes, in 2.03 mins with an "OPERATOR" on it, YEAH BOYS, SUCK IT UP.

1: It's a lovely undercarriage on that komatsu! Steady as a rock! I drive terex/O&K 120 E in the mine i work at, and it have to be designed by drunk engineers! It's too freakin' short!

2: Ever tried to spray the back of the bucket with marking spray? To see if you wear the back of the bucket..?
