Some VW models my vary. This is an early model. The Wave 3 is the current heater on eBay. Do not drive with your fridge running on Propane. Turn off your propane tank too.

  • @JeffTheCanuck2 Try william r lyne on you tube, interesting interview on ufos.or his book pentagon aliens pdf on google (look for the free upload)he had a top secret air force clearance in intel and says they are military craft.

  • @corti1973 It's a catalytic heater, once it's catalyst heats up it doesn't give off carbon monoxide, it's recommended to crack a window about 1/4 inch or so, but that has something to do with moisture or something. This is just what I read, so if you use one PLEASE don't go by this. Lol.

  • Jeff, QQQQ???. How do you keep that heater on in the cold with all the windows and doors closed up?. i'm missing something here.

  • Did the heater come stock with the van or is it just an add on?

  • I have a westy. Turn the control switch panel on and the bottom LED is flame indicator for the fridge. Also, you didn't show the pilot view hole at the bottom of the fridge. You can look in it and see a red flame if the fridge is lit.

  • @Kanuckbrewer Dude the 4wd (called the syncro) is awesome but so is the price tag. Just saw one here in MT and they were asking $28,000.

  • Nice video jeff

  • @JeffTheCanuck2 ~Left rear lower corner. whoops. I never look in there. Food is often in the way.

  • @Knaeckebrotsaege ~There is a green light below the water-level lights on my model, but I prefer a hands-on check, just to be certain it's working properly. There is also a peep-hole in the inside right-rear lower corner to see a flame burning. At 3am or whatever, you can also feel the left upper side for heat, next to the table, for a quick check during the night.

  • @somejackball thought the same. didn't even know these things existed.

and i'm kinda baffled at the fact there's no way to tell if it's actually running apart from feeling if it's getting hot on the outside..
