Korg have taken the best bits of the bitesized KAOSSILATOR and merged it with the form factor of their KP3 effects unit to make an all new KAOSSILATOR PRO unit.

  • @HExtab12 You prob know already being a year ago but the pad is a sampler, the Kaoss Pro is a synth & looper

  • @JasonVladimir The Pad is more of a sampler where this is more of a synth and a looper. I bought one yesterday

  • MIDI misery

MIDI compatibility was one of the main features we thought would improve the Kaossilator, so the arrival of MIDI ports on the Pro got us seriously excited. Unfortunately, it doesn't support standard note data. The X-Y coordinates are instead sent and received as CC values, meaning that if you want to play the internal synth instruments using a MIDI controller or DAW you'll need to find a way of converting notes to CC.

  • Anyone tell me the difference between the Pad 3 and the Pro? Which one is better?

  • @CoxDzul im pretty sure he did exactly that in the video. but if you're more into mixing and filtering get the kaoss pad 3 not the kaossilator.

  • @djd3mon actually, its as easy as a synthesizer gets.

  • Will I be able to by MIDI, make a sound on my ELectribe and then save it into the PRO and the mess with it in the PRO?

  • looks complicated as hell. but i would like to get one.

  • @HExtab12 its a synth with the same method of use that the kp3 have, but it has 15 effects only and lots of "sounds", and you can't (at least, nobody showed it) do one-shot samples.

  • I think it is just like the KP3 but its a synth as well someone enlightme pls?
