I like guns, I don't think that the government should be able to rip them away from people on baseless grounds. But they simply have not tried to do that while they've been in office. 4 rounds for this competition as stated by the OP, most 1911 have a 7/8+1 capacity depending on the gun and/or the magazine, while double stack 1911s have a 13+ round count.
