The Sending

Just a fanvid I was playing with, to teach myself more about iMovie and Garageband. Lots of fun to make, so I hope you enjoy it :)
If you have no idea what this is for, it's supposed to be a trailer for Isobelle Carmody's forthcoming (final Obernewtyn Chron novel), The Sending.

The story of the trailer is this: Elspeth's at Obernewtyn, awaiting the final call. She's true-dreaming / dreamtrail travelling, a lot, about Dragon, leading her somewhere. Whenever she reaches the 'somewhere', she sees something different, and this time she forsees Dragon + Matthew, somewhere where they shouldn't be. Before she can get a decent look at the place, Dragon's mental dragon swoops and wakes her.

Fed up with the confusion of the visions constant shifting, she decides to wait no longer for the call, and leaves of her own volition. As she's leaving, she sees another vision, this time of Ariel, smirking and pleased that she's on her way.

As she reaches the boundaries of Obernewtyn, there is an explosion, and she watches Obernewtyn destroyed.

She wakes form this second dream properly - to daylight.
Herders and Hedra arrive, out of the blue. They aren't there to invade, they're just after Dragon. They've made a deal with the usurper leader of LotRQ, and need her to seal it.
When Rushton refuses to hand Dragon over, the Hedra attack, and Soldierguards are called in to burn Obernewtyn and all within it.
Obernewtyn readies to fight...
...and Elspeth receives the call to move on her destiny. She has to leave them and come clean to Rushton, finally.

She leaves, to keep the promise she made to the world...not knowing what or who she'll find there ;)
