The Russian National Ballet Theatre will present a unique program when they make their return appearance at VRCFA. The evening begins with "Chopiniana," which debuted in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1907. This non-traditional ballet features music by Frederic Chopin and orchestration by Alexander Glazunov. Following an intermission, the company returns to present "Romeo and Juliet" with music by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and story based on William Shakespeare's tragedy.
