No it did not hurt, in fact. Most of it felt numb to the touch, and there was no real pain involved in the removal either. In fact the area remained numb for some months.

Best get it looked at. If it is just a fat build up from a blocked fat gland (as this was) then it really is not a problem, unless it gets real big and starts to press on the bone.
Or something - I am not a doctor, get him to see one.
