Some of the best African art has been created by wood-burning. Using a paraffin-fueled blowtorch, sandpaper, and simple chiseling tools, artists are able to create inspiring works such as these.

  • There is an artist world renowned who lives outside of my hometown and I visited his home he has a panel of doors made in Nepal or northern India and another objects from Africa. His collection consisted mostly of African art all which was hand made with nothing but primitive tools and elbow grease. Needless to say every object had a great sentimental value to him and each piece represented a tribe from Africa.
