Maybe try going to the bank? I know the bank is like the most confusing place ever, I just got my first credit card and there's so many differant options and crap its confusing as hell

Gabe wanting a Best Buy credit card is a good start. But depending on his job and what he makes, if he will get the card. They used to give those things away, now with the economy and banks going under I dont know what the approval methods are like.

my credit is garbage man i couldnt get a peice of bubble gum on credit so if u dont have credit u got to establish credit go and open a checking account at a bank it helps and dont get magazine subscriptions like i did and not pay plus i got alot of other stuff and didnt pay it off it's all a bunch of bullshit

As for building credit. You need to have a credit card and be able to show you can pay your bills on time and be responsible with other companies funds. Some cards start out at 1k, 5k, 10k and they will give you more credit each year if you show you can be trusted with the credit. Of course you need a bank account and savings account, too.
