More than one million people lined Sydney Harbour to witness a spectacular fireworks display as worldwide celebrations to ring in the New Year began in the Asia-Pacific region.

Massive bursts of red and green light filled the warm night air as the clock ticked past midnight in Australia's largest city, with revellers crammed into prime pieces of parkland to catch a glimpse of the dazzling show.

And there is speackers and mik's everywere

so the fireworks aint actually as loud as

they appear. And most of them shells are

pixy 12inch shells! aint much variety..

@Sebtastical I agree with you; London, even though it's fireworks display wasn't as large obviously, at least it did it right in that there was no obnoxious music playing to distract from the fireworks display.

Sydney is surprisingly expensive and the MOST overated city in the western world. If you are lucky you will see the now regular dust storms and a giant orange cloud of desert dust spread across this shithole. lol
