You can't compare this with the original. This was David's interpretation of Billy Joel's song. Singing acapella is very, very hard and not many singers can do it successfully but David is master class.

David Archuleta has the most beautiful and distinct voice. Cook blends in with all the other rockers. Being at the top of your game, by definition, implies that one is special. Whether one likes David Archuleta's sound, or whether one thinks he is going to sell millions of records, has nothing to do with his talent -- a talent which far surpasses David Cook. Wow. Did you notice like until 43 seconds, he was singing WITHOUT music? I think it's pretty hard to do that. I thought it was music at first but then I had to replay it.
