Chinese car gets 70 mpg

When they build em with quality and a competitive price. I'll buy American. Air Force Retiree here, been shot at, been in combat and I STILL won't waste my money on a crappy GM or Chrysler vehicle. What's REALLY funny are the folks that "buy American" (like the Chevy Aveo) and then look under the hood and find out it's made in Korea. I will buy a QUALITY vehicle, regardless of where it's made...and I will admit these odd vehicles look interesting...would have to drive one first tho...

Coming from "Discocreator" I'll take that with a grain of salt, lol....SERIOUSLY tho, I test drove one and it was anemic on performance. I recently bought a Kandi Electric Chinese EV, and I love it! 900 miles back and forth to work and all around Rockford, Illinois here. As far as Buy American, if you can find me an AMERICAN EV for $6000, I'll buy it! Sorry, I LIKE my Chinese vehicle!

Yes, I've been to China 5 times, and I have actually a GREAT opinion of most of their stuff, except some food items. The reason they are beating the Crap out of us is because of the sad case of our manufacturing cost in the US. I've just purchased a Kandi Coco KD80E LSV all electric car that was manufactured by Kandi Industries in Shanghai, and we LOVE it.

Oh btw, I dont NEED to save my pension pennies...I've got more cash than you would believe. FOAD.

Seriously, have you ever been to China? Save your pension pennys and take a tour. I honestly don't think they (the mainland Chinese government) have made an innovative product since around their last invention of pasta and gunpowder. Just speaking from 22 years of Chinese manufacturing experience. Think the next time you go into China-mart for that all important cheap item.
