Cheater's lament

Over the next few days we'll be removing all TF2 items that were earned using external idling applications. We're going to adopt a zero tolerance policy for external applications used to manipulate the persistent item system. Due to us not having a policy in place prior to today, this time we're only removing the items earned through cheating the system. Going forward, if we find users using external applications, we'll remove all of their items. If you're interested, only about 4.5% of the players in TF2's community will be affected by this cleansing process.
Meanwhile, everyone who took the moral high road will soon be finding a new hat in their inventory. We've also significantly increased the chance of finding any of the existing hats.

I dont use that hat when I play spy. I know that.

But it's funny how people rage when valve took their hats. They cheated and have to face the consequences.

People just idle ingame anyway. This just meant they didn't have to have TF2 open and hogging their system resources

I'm not trying to defend idlers. But now servers are full of people idling on the server motd's

What's actually changed? Nothing. Does Valve implement penalties for idle servers? No. Are these items removed? No. The end result is the same

I just fail to see any physical difference in how these items are obtained. But ones cheating and the other isn't?

Explain that logic?

I cant explain that. And I dont want to have comments like this on my video. I dont understand why people begin to discuss this at youtube anyway.

If it's anything people have to say go on a forum and say what you think. And I know everyone have the right to say what they mean, but why on youtube?
