Many unjustly met their death in Tudor times but it seems like Jane's story is one of the most tragic. She was just a girl, she never wanted to be Queen. She was easy to manipulate because of her young age and was then abandoned by the power hungry adults that put her on the throne in the first place She was only sixteen, the same age as I am now. A mere teenager, condemned to die because things happened over which she had absolutely no control. Poor Jane, may her and Guildford rest in peace.

I love this movie. But once again I am crying buckets. I think its so amazing, however, how strong her faith was. She and Gilford turely did take flight to the land that is invisable, and dwells in paradice, with God. <3 I cant wait to get there myself.:)

@cartergirl3of3 I to always cry when I see women getting excecuted. Anne boleyn (Natalie Dormer), Catherine Howard (Tamzin Merchant), Marie Antoinette and so on.... I ALWAYS CRY!

I love the irony of this ending, where everyone who was TRULY guilty of planning to overthrow Mary is there, alive and welcome at her court. At least Jane's mother looks a little bit guilty and abashed, though. Finally, shame at last instead of shamelessness.

Mary looked so regal and triumphant as she strode down the hallway to meet Philip!

Elizabeth was even less fond of the Greys than was Mary. Even though she too was Protestant, Elizabeth was not of the evangelical mold as were the Greys, Edward VI or Catherine Parr. Indeed, Edward as well as the Greys maintained the illegitimacy of Elizabeth, and questioned whether Henry VIII was even her father. Remember, Elizabeth (like Mary) was also disinherited by Edward and the Greys. Mary showed far more mercy toward the Greys than Elizabeth ever did.
I am crying. I always do when I watch people get killed in this time for no GODDAMN REASON. I cried during Joan of Arc, Th other boleyn girl, story of women, this. Gosh this time periond makes me SICK TO MY STOMACH

@Mazzystar0 Nobody thought Jane was a bad person, but Jane had to die so that Mary's position as queen wouldn't be threatened again. Mary wanted to get married so badly, and her Spanish fiance would not come to England unless all threats to Mary were gone.
