I used to coach for SHI about 10 years ago for the Don Mills Diamonds. This makes me want to start up a team where I live now. SHI was one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life! What the players give back is immeasurable!! -3
Our team(the icebergs) got crushed in that game, but the kids don't even care as long as they are out there having the times of their lives like they should be.
well done found out about the story on Bloom blog and I so impressed thank you to the team for showing such sportsmanship that is what sports should be about
I volunteer for the Icebergs at most of their practices, but due to a busy schedule have never been able to make it to any of their games. This is great to see.
this is fantastic! my brother plays for the Werewolves of London and participated at the Boston tournament last weekend, and it's moments like this that really show how special SHI is and how much it does for so many young people and families X
Our team, the Capital City Condors was also at this tournament and it is something that absolutely everyone should experience! The demonstration of true team spirit seen in this video happens all throughout the tournament. It is life-changing not only for the receivers of that act of kindness, but also for the players who give those chances to others....not to mention the impact on each and every person there! Thank-you, SHI, for hosting such an incredible event year after year!

My son was participating at the Boston Tournament (North Bay North Stars). Every SHI (Special Hockey International) team is uplifting and shows the true spirit of hard work, friendship and just plain fun!!!!!
Makes me tear up every time I see the kids play :)
