Got Limit (20) Crappie

Decided to keep 9" and larger crappie - and got my limit (20) today - previous days been keeping 10-11" and only getting 8-12 keepers but today didn't throw back the 9"
Had 5 10-11" from fishing an hour the previous afternoon i.e. had 25 keepers to clean
Been depressed - not fishing as much and when I do fish - haven't posted on my blog about the crappie I catch
Also catching a bunch of small 5-7" crappie that I throw back

are there many ducks around the lake yet? is the duck hunting good on palarm creek?

I don't know but I know the DANG AGFC keeps drawing down the lake - they've had two gates open since Thursday and the pipe to Grassy lake

I barely can get my boat out of boat house cause they are using lake water to keep Grassy full

Haven't seen any ducks around here - just a flock of Canadian Geese - wish someone would shoot all them - cause they poop everywhere

Surprised but Crappie fishing is still pretty good despite low water

were did you catch them at? weres the best place to catch them at right now?

People are catching them in brush piles in shallow water (1.5 - 2 ft ) and some are still catching them under the hwy 89 bridge (channel) but only when they close the spillway gates (they left gates open when I checked yesterday PM - the AGFC dropped the lake over 6" since Thursday - wish they would STOP screwing with the level - much lower and the front of boat will be in the mud in my boat house
