1. "Si no fuera porque tus ojos tienen color de luna" (If your eyes were not the color of the moon).

The superb British mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly sang the UK premiere of the hauntingly beautiful and poignant cycle of five "Neruda Songs" by Peter Lieberson.

Lieberson wrote the cycle for his wife the mezzo-soprano Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, who died shortly after giving the first performance in 2005. The songs are settings of poems of love by the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda.

Sarah Connolly was accompanied by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jiří Bělohlávek. This performance was recorded live at The Barbican, London, on 1 October 2010.

  • Lo siguiente debería ser algo de César Vallejo! "Los Heraldos Negros" o "Masa"
