After being very impressed with 'The Engine House' (even though we had rushed it) on the 18th July, I decided to go back to the SVR to have a more in-depth look around 'The Engine House', as well as riding and filming the train services operating along the 16.25 mile long line.
Timetable 'C' was operating meaning that three steam locomotives and a diesel would be in action sharing the eight services each way (two round trips each). The two BR Mk1 sets were out as well as the LMS Period 3's and LNER Teaks. 'Bradley Manor' was out on a private charter using a GWR Hawksworth Saloon. The engines in action were -
| GWR 4-6-0 49xx 'Hall' Class number 4936 'Kinlet Hall'*
| GWR 4-6-0 78xx 'Manor' Class number 7802 'Bradley Manor'
| LMS 2-6-0 'Stainer Mogul' 5MT Class number 42968
| BR(M) 2-6-0 'Mickey' 2MT Class number 46443
| BR 'Hoover' Class 50 Diesel number D444 (50044) 'Exeter'
* - On loan from Tyseley Loco Works until late September (including the 'Autumn Steam Gala'). Today was her first services on the SVR during this loan.
I visited with my Dad and GJDobbzy, although GJDobbzy did do his own plan during the day, so basically we just gave him a lift up. The plan my Dad and I did -
| 0950 Kidderminster-Highley with D444
| Visited 'The Engine House'
| 1317 Highley-Bridgnorth with 4936
| 1530 Bridgnorth-Kidderminster with D444 (D3022 rescued outside Kidderminster)
| 1640 Kidderminster-Highley with 4936
| 1741 Highley-Kidderminster with 46443
Another eventful day out at the SVR. 'The Engine House' is brilliant and well worth the extra few quid, but you need to have at least 90mins there without lunch, filming trains etc!
Great video, I'm planning a trip to the SVR, but the site doesn't tell you what locos will be in action on which timetables :L . Do you know what'll run on Timetable B? Thanks.

@JIMKUltra Well it changes each time. If you go on the website they normally update the news page on Friday giving say what will be on each train for the coming week. Or go on the SVR online forum and click 'Online News' and then Loco News. Again this will be updated every Friday for the upcoming week.
