  • Baton Rouge does have culture believe it or not . Maybe not as much as New Orleans or Lafayette . It's not fake or made up , just many people from around the country like to go there , and many people from louisiana enjoy going there . But New Orleans is probably one of the most cultural places in the u.s.a. , you can't go around saying BR is fake . ( btw i'm from Acadiana & i love New Orleans and Baton )

  • I'm going to be honest with you. Baton Rouge's Cajun culture is copied and fake. It's basically like a New Yorker going to San Antonio wearing a cowboy hat thinking that he's just like everyone else. Baton Rouge is not apart of Acadiana and has nothing to do with true-blood Cajun people. If you really want to talk about culture in LA, they only places you're only looking at New Orleans and Acadiana (including Lafayette for those who aren't from there)

  • Br quite like da real cajuns in south LA by the atchafalaya river.

Br people really obsessed wi music called swamp pop 1950s crap

its not zydeco or cajun, they worship LSU football most the culture is boring and clanish,

if ya wanna have a good time in La. go to new orleans or lafayette to see sum real cajun and zydeco bands,in BR all ya gonna find is cover bands who think brown eyed girl and the freeze is the shit since all bands think its against jesus not to play those songs.

  • before any of u decide to go to baton rouge to experience Cajun or creole culture, DONT. The city is fueled by drugs, money nd violence
