In this show, we interview Hjalte Tin and Nina Rasmussen who are doing an around the world drive in an electric Nissan QuashQuai. We also debunk the concept of self-discharge in LiFePo4 cells and show new battery box construction on our Speedster rebuild.

  • I have been watching your series and have been wondering whether to get a BMS for the pack I ordered. I get a lot of mixed opinions and I think that, for the cost of a BMS, I can buy extra cells (for 12v system and 1-2 in case I destroy a cell or two), have an inverter on board to charge the pack if any cells get below a certain level. Any thoughts on my plans?

  • Great

  • so ~180km per day * 8 months (2 on schip _)

  • I use clear silicon instead of the tread tape in the water pipes, it doesn't leak even if it is not yet hardened.

  • STILL NOT BETTER THAN THE LINCVOLT LOL

  • Evening Fellas, I really like your videos. You have lots of information. Some of which is very useful and some that is a bit much. Overall, I really do prefer having more information that we require. So I'd like to thank all you at EVTV for the information that you have provided.
