This tutorial will show how to embed and play YouTube videos in your C# apps. Programming the app is simple. All you have to do is load the Shockwave Flash Object in the form and place the modified video link in the Movie property.

    Is there a way to enable the video to play automatically, without clicking play in the form?

    I'm trying to get the Shockwave Flash Object into my windows form. But unlike in your video, the list in the com tab only has a Shockwave ActiveX Control which can't be loaded... I've downloaded the latest flash player and also the latest schockwave player. Still no success. Can you help me, please? Can you give me a link to the flash player download that worked for you?

    I found a problem, we can't control the youtube video programmaly like autoplay.

    Problem solved :)

    just add this lines:

    axShockwaveFlash1.Movie = "xxxxx";// youtube video link after modification

    axShockwaveFlash1.SetVariable("autoplay", "1");// this is it !! like autoplay=1

    axShockwaveFlash1.Play();

    You can use parameters from embedded code of any youtube video, example:

    for border=1

    use

    axShockwaveFlash1.SetVariable("border", "1");
