Actually the 35th Anniversary of the 1967 Summer of Love, you do the math :-) SF City Hall is the back ground.
Chet Helms was still alive and there as was Arthur Lee of Love who headlined the event. The Great Society (the folks who actually wrote and 1st recorded White Rabbit & Somebody to Love before the Jefferson Airplane) also performed.
Been a fan since 69! This tune has been called "haunting", it's actually a clever exercise in construction. I enjoy listening to the album because each instrument line is stand alone and very 'hooky' unto themselves. Nothing short of brilliant. Even though this tune was never very commercial it's got a huge following because it's one of the few tunes of that time which beckoned all within earshot as if it were a pied piper. Truly an anthem.
clean up the damn sound!!!!

Linda soo reminds me of Ronnie James Dio in the "Sunsets" versus there...Almost 80's metal/rainbow style...very cool.
